Veloxum’s intelligent Performance Tuning Engine’s (iPTE™) flexible and modular design allows deployment of a simple iPTE Agent on any supported platform. Each month, the agent works in conjunction with the iPTE Management Engine located at the Veloxum datacenter to test, report and reconfigure each managed server to its optimal settings.At a preset time each month, the iPTE Agent runs a series of simple tests to collect device specific configuration information and baseline performance. This information is reported back to the iPTE Management Engine, where the data is analyzed and optimized configuration recommendations are created.
The new configuration recommendations can be invoked either on-demand or automatically. These recommendations are created using sophisticated and patent-pending algorithms which take into account the ever expanding knowledge base of applications, operating systems, devices and network settings. This ensures your servers are always operating efficiently and minimizing the possibility of inter-application configuration conflicts.
These recommendations can then be viewed online or via hardcopy. Once approved and/or edited the new configurations are applied by the iPTE Agent and logged in the SQL database.
